Assignment

For this assignment, please choose a picture book that you will read and sign to the class. Some things to keep in mind:
1.Do not choose a Dr. Seuss book
2. Do not use a book with repetitive text
3. Choose books with more pictures and less text  (at least 3 words per page). Text and pictures should be even
4. Choose books that have familiar vocabulary - not unusual or made up words.
5. Books need to be a “story” book not a rhyming/lullaby type.

Be sure to check out books on the Beginning Reader shelf in the Children's area of the library. Level 1 books are great for this assignment.
