Early Childhood Education 234: Children's Literature: Home

Best Bets

  • Click on the tab for the type of children's book you need. Each tab gives some suggested  titles, and you can see if the title is available. This is the quickest way to find a children's book, but the titles listed are not comprehensive.
  • Lists of recommended children's books are found at the end of each chapter of the textbook, in the section "Creating Your Classroom Library." Look for those individual titles in the online catalog.
  • If the book is not available at the campus library where you are, you can have it delivered from the other campus library.
  • Additional books can be found at branches of the county public library system. Their catalog is available at http://www.blackgold.org. You will need a public library card to check out books from the public library system.
