The most useful Cuesta Library resources for current awareness on AI cover peer-reviewed and popular journals as well as newspapers and other news sources.  In each, once you have set up an account, you can create search alerts to notify you when new material meeting your search criteria has been added.  You can decide the frequency and duration of the notifications.

 

Academic Search Complete   Full text for over 3,100 peer-reviewed journals in social sciences, humanities, and STEM research.  

        To create a search alert:

  1. Create an account (click “Sign in” on top blue bar, then select “Sign up.”
  2. Do a search. 
  3. On the Results screen click “Share” in upper right, then “Create an alert”

 

  

USNewsstream  1100 full-text newspapers, blogs, and news sites in full text, including LA Times, Wall Street Journal, TED Radio Talks, 60 Minutes, and 17 current Spanish-language newspapers.

     To set up an Alert:

  1. Create an account (click person icon in upper right, then “Create my research account.”)
  2. Run a search.
  3. Click “Save search/alert,” in the upper right corner of results, then "Set up alert" and complete the form.

Google Group

AI in Education  The group recently surpassed one thousand members, and receives approximately a half-dozen posts daily.
