Finding the Annual Report
You can find your company’s annual report on their website. Look for the investor relations section, usually found at the bottom of the homepage.
The company annual report tells investors and analysts how the company has performed over the previous fiscal year, how its business looks going forward, and discloses corporate financials for analysis. You will be analyzing their balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows.
The EDGAR database provides free public access to corporate information, allowing you to research a public company’s financial information and operations by reviewing the filings the company makes with the SEC. Companies are required to submit annual and quarterly financial statements.
