What is Films on Demand?

To Embed Films on Demand in Canvas

Find

Find the film you would like to embed. (See Searching Films on Demand to review how to do this.)

Share

Click on the Edit/Embed link below the video.

Copy Video Embed Code

Copy the Embed Code..  Optional: You may adjust the video size by clicking on one of the radio buttons under Embed Size.

Open Pages

Log into Canvas. In Course Navigation, click the Pages link (even if it is grayed out).

View Pages

Pages is designed to open to the front page for the course, if there is a front page selected. To select a page from the Pages Index, click the View All Pages button.

Open Page

Click the title of the page you want to open.

Edit Page

Click the Edit button.

Open HTML Editor

Click the HTML Editor link.

Paste Embed Code

Paste the embed code for the video content into the HTML editor in Canvas.

Save Page

Click the Save button.

View Page

view embedded video

View the video embedded into your page.
