What is Credo Reference?

Credo Reference is an online reference collection containing dictionaries, encyclopedias, thesauri, and books of quotations. A wide range of subjects are covered.


To Embed a Credo Reference Article in Canvas:

From the Library Homepage, select the Databases A-Z link from the navigation menu on the left hand side.

Click on Credo Reference Academic Core.

Credo

Use the search box to search for a specific topic, or select one of the subjects listed.

Select an entry from the results list. Note: Topic page icon topic pages contain an overview, definitions, biographies, related topics, images, plus links to relevant articles and other content provided by the library.

After clicking on the entry you would like to embed, click on the embed code button in the upper right-hand corner.

Copy the embed code.

Paste the code into the appropriate content page in Canvas. Make sure you are using the HTML Editor. (Click on the HTML Editor link, if you see it available. The link on the upper right-hand corner should read Rich Content Editor.)
